Return & Refund Policy
The Return & Refund Policy is based on where the products are ordered from. Below are the return policies of IMO Publishing, and IMRF Publications.
IMO Publishing
Books & Other Products by Mail
If you have ordered products by mistake from IMO Publishing, they cannot be returned or refunded.
If the order was completed incorrectly by IMO Publishing, or you received damaged copies, you should let us know at bookshop@imrf.org.uk within 7 working days of arrival of the order. We will arrange with IMO Publishing that the books will be returned and/or replaced and/or you will receive a refund.
IMO Publishing will not refund the postage, unless the error was made by them.
E-Products (E-Books & Online Subscriptions)
You cannot return an e-product after purchase.
IMRF Publications
E-Products
The IMRF cannot accept a return of an e-product after purchase.
Books & Products by Mail
You can return your book or other product (other than e-products) within 30 days of the date of purchase.
The product should be in a sale-able condition and your money will be refunded once the product has arrived at the dispatched address (please e-mail bookshop@imrf.org.uk for the full address to return your IMRF Product to).
We do not refund the initial postage and package to send the product to you, nor do we except the post and package you made to send the product back to the IMRF Bookshop Online.
Please make sure you contact the IMRF first before returning your product at bookshop@imrf.org.uk.
Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group
Returning Products
Customers in the USA, Canada & South America
For customers in the United States, Canada and all other countries outside the European Union, products sold on this and the Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group website are sold on a firm sale basis and are not returnable. This does not affect your rights to return damaged, defective or incorrect items.
Customers in the European Union
Customers in the European Union have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of the Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group products except for digital items (e.g.: E-Books) where the item has been downloaded. Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group also cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video, DVD, audio, and software products where the item has been unsealed.
Cancelling before Shipping
To cancel your purchase you must contact Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group at the address below within the seven-working-day ‘cooling-off period’:

Please note that you are responsible for postage/carriage costs of returning the items to Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group unless the item is damaged or defective, or is different to the one you ordered. As soon as Routledge - Taylor & Francis Group receives notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the purchase price for that item.

Shipping Guides Ltd
1.1 This clause 1 and the following clause 1.2. do not apply to orders placed by any business or in connection with any business. If you are a person who purchases goods for private use and not in connection with any business you may return any Products you have purchased within 7 working days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including e-mail) within those 7 working days.
You will then be entitled to a refund from Shipping Guides, which will be paid as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of Shipping Guides receiving the products being returned by you.
You must arrange for and pay the costs of returning the Products to Shipping Guides - on request, we will collect the Products from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and we may deduct this from the refund. While in your possession, you must keep any Products you intend to return to us in good condition.
- the Product delivered is not what you ordered; or
- the Product delivered is not of a satisfactory quality;
- Shipping Guides will, at its option, deliver to you a replacement Product or refund to you the price paid and your reasonable costs of returning the Products. For the avoidance of doubt this clause 1.3 applies whether you are purchasing the Products as a business or as a private consumer.
